Four days after Hurricane Katrina struck, the National Guard arrived in force Friday with food, water and weapons, churning through the floodwaters in a vast truck convoy with orders to retake the streets and bring relief to the suffering.
Yes I understand that this is a disaster of phenomenal proportions but the response from the authorities looks well lets say unorganized and slow. Heck this is the US and they can deliver folks to the moon and missiles in minutes, but cant find some troops and buses to get those folks out faster?
Maybe makes ya wonder why Bush and the help convoys arrived at the same time?
Im sure there will be some backlash and finger pointing coming up soon.
