as usual, the headline is “news” that we can not wait to learn…only to learn that there is not one item in the entire article that has not been known for years by both physicians and patients. this is a serious disease, and misleadind headlines should not be used to sell magazines.
I can speak from a perspective filled with intimate knowledge (so to speak). There was absolutely nothing new in this article, or in the study for that matter. I have been on SSRI’s for over twenty years. I am now what the docs call “a hopeless case.” I do see the upside. I am more than willing to accept zero libido in exchange for a functional (no productive) life. KeeRyst - we can’t have everything.
