Has anyone in the West wondered why people in countries where there is ample sunchine and ample melanin still wear long, loose fitting clothes to protect their skin ? There is some truth to the whole – don’t fry your skin thing.And why can’t people be happy with their skin colour ? White, blak, brown – what difference does it make ? On the whole though, I agree with the columnist in that it comes down to individual choice – but informed choice.
Maybe the Government should just regulate the information thats out there regarding tanning – making sure that what gets
to the public is backed by research and not just propaganda…
