Just think about it next time you fill your gas tank, the story is here at Yahoo News: Exxon Mobil Corp. said Thursday it earned $10.36 billion in the April-June period, the second largest quarterly profit ever recorded by a publicly traded U.S. company. The earnings figure was 36 percent above the profit it reported a year ago. High oil prices and the growing global appetite for fuel helped boost the company’s revenue by 12 percent to a level just short of a quarterly record.
How long will it take for Americans to realize that oil companies are taking us for a ride? No, I’m sorry, that was politically correct. When will the American people learn not to take the pipe, that oil companies use to pump money out of our wallets. Please someone, calm me down. Is the problem supply and demand? Is it the whole lack of Ethanol and the whole difficulty of slowly changing importing regulations? I’m not sure, but what I am sure of is that the oil industry must be, the Godfathers of corporations. Because let me tell you, even though the price is high, we just keep on buying. If you’re even cognizant of the game you must discern the auto manufacturing industry thugs, are shall I say, your local dealer and there role in the game. How long are these people going to pimp us?
