Schumacher to Announce Retirement, Newspaper Says
Spiegel Online reports here: German motor-racing hero Michael Schumacher may be about to retire, according to a report in the newspaper Bild. A spokeswoman has declined to comment but said more would be revealed next Sunday in Monza, where the Italian Grand Prix is being held. Speculation about his future has mounted since Ferrari’s disappointing season in 2005.
