Poll: Most Americans Opposed to Bush’s Iraq Plan

The Washington Post reports here: "Most Americans oppose President Bush’s call to send additional U.S. military forces to Iraq and just over a third say the new plan makes victory there more likely, an initial public rebuke of the strategy he unveiled last night in a nationally televised address."
And Spiegel Online writes here: "130,000 US soldiers haven’t been able to bring peace to Iraq. Now George W. Bush has admitted his error — and is sending in a further 21,000 troops. The US President is thus almost completely ignoring the recommendations of the Baker Commission."

  1. I think they should do both. They should first remove all troops for a certain number of days. At total pull-out. Then send them all back in if something changes.

  2. I wish they would just go ahead and impeach him or try him for war crimes. Thats why I voted straight party democrat and I’m in Texas (all of my life!). You can not control a fire by pouring more gasoline on it.
