CNN reports here: A mass evacuation is under way along the Gulf Coast amid fears that Hurricane Gustav could strengthen by the time it makes landfall in the U.S. The mayor of New Orleans, which was devastated by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, called Gustav “the mother of all storms” and warned residents: “You need to be scared.”
